Voiceover:The three points plotted below are on the graph of y is equal to b to the x power. Based only on these three points, plot the three corresponding points that must be on the graph of y is equal to log base b of x by clicking on the graph. Iamp;#39;ve actually copy and pasted this problem on my little scratch pad so I can mark it up a little bit. What is this first function? This first function is telling us so x, and this is y is equal to b to the x power. When x is equal to zero, y is equal to one. Thatamp;#39;s this point right over here. When x is equal to one, b to the one power or b to the first power is equal to four. y is equal to four. Another way of thinking of this y or four is equal to b to the first power and actually we can do [said] must be four. Thatamp;#39;s this point right over there. This point is telling us that b to the second power is equal to 16. When x is equal to two, b to the second power, y is equal to 16. Now we want to plot the three correspondi

To reverse a log base 10, you can use the following equation: 10^log(x) = x. This equation states that raising 10 to the power of the log of a number (x) will result in the original number (x).
Explanation: In order to eliminate the log based ten, we will need to raise both sides as the exponents using the base of ten. The ten and log based ten will cancel, leaving just the power on the left side. Change the negative exponent into a fraction on the right side.
Answer and Explanation: The inverse of log10 (x), denoted log(x), is 10x. In general, we have the following rule regarding the inverse function of a logarithmic function. If f(x) = logb (x), then f-1 (x) = bx.
To rid an equation of logarithms, raise both sides to the same exponent as the base of the logarithms.
Logarithms 100=1Log10(1) = 0 101 =10 Log10(10) = 1 102 =100 Log10(100) = 2 103 =1,000 Log10(1,000) = 3 104 =10,000 Log10(10,000) = 41 more row
What is the Value of Log 10? Value of log10 10log10 10 = 1 Value of loge10 loge10 (ln 10) = 2.302585
Put in the base number e on both sides of the equation. e and ln cancel each other out leaving us with a quadratic equation.
If there are multiple logs in an equation, try to combine as many as possible. If both sides of the equation are in a log of the same base, then the logs cancel out and can be removed (just the log part, the part inside the log is still around).
