bill with cvp studios here and today i want to go over a quick tip on using the lumazon and ultra sharp plugins together and a applicable use case so lets say that we want to do some sharpening on this image and what we can do to do that is to zoom in a little bit and we can open our ultra sharp panel and lets do something a little extreme lets add a bunch of sharpening um both in the medium small and medium ranges here with the ultra sharp panel and we can see that its too much everywhere so what id like to do is limit the range of that sharpening and the way that i can do that is i can go to lumazone and i can start with say a mid-tone and just in one click it limits the sharpening only to the mid-tone ranges of the image so you can see by alt clicking on the mask the range that its using but what i can do is refine it a little bit more i want to shift this a little bit so lets go a little bit more into the highlights and a little bit less in the shadows and that looks a litt
