Here are some things you can do about it. Utilize the security functions of websites, hardware, and apps. Uninstall unused apps from your smartphone, tablet, and computer. Delete old email addresses. Remove personal information from Google. Close old websites and unused accounts. Remove your data from data brokers.
You might be able to remove your information from people search sites by going to each site and submitting a removal or deletion request. Or, you could look for tools and services that can monitor sites for your information and submit the requests on your behalf.
Open the Microsoft Word file and click Tools. Click Options. Click the Security tab. Select Remove any personal information from file properties on save.
You can request to remove sensitive information like your phone number or Social Security number from public records in most states. Dont expect to have court records, marriage licenses or mugshots wiped from the internet, though. If you want to give it a shot, call your county clerks office.
