Set margins Tap More Options at the bottom of the controls. In a word-processing document, you may need to tap the Document tab at the top of the screen to see More Options. In More Options view, drag the double arrows on the top, bottom, and sides of the document to set the margins.

If you dont have any images that bleed, then 8.5x11 inches is what you want, and your margins should be not less than 0.5 inch on the three outside edges, maybe 0.8 inch on the inside or gutter.
