Iamp;#39;m going to show you six common and horrendous Luger type mistakes why they are so bad and why you need to avoid them in your logo designs so for this example weamp;#39;re going to be mainly looking at the first title of the Allegra itself and not the strap line or what other people would say the tagline so what do you think is wrong with this example of the logo type but the thing is here it might look trendy or it might look relevant to the design but notice how thin the typeface is on Kingstown if you look at a revised version this is using the same font but just a different thickness in terms of the font family now you might ask what is wrong with having a thinner font or typeface for your logo weamp;#39;ll take a look here when things are down scaled and smaller in size it becomes quite difficult to read the logo type itself and this is gonna be a big problem for a brand because you can imagine if this leg was on a business card for example he would be very very difficu

2.7 Clearspace This is called clearspace. It is important to follow clearspace require- ments. The minimum spacing requirement is 0.25 inches and should always be used when placing the primary or sub-brand logos into a printed design. In printed materials, the logo should be at least 0.25 inches in height.
The minimum clear space is the smallest margin allowed between the logo and the edge of a page, photo or body text. The margin of the clear space around the logo is defined in relation to the logos height (marked X). The bottom margin should equal to 0.5X, While the top and side margins should equal to 0.4X.
How to convert logo to high-resolution? The easiest way to increase the resolution of a logo is by using a free, AI-powered logo upscaler tool like Pixelcut. Simply upload your logo, select the desired upscale amount, and our tool will automatically increase the resolution of your logo while maintaining the quality.
To set the area of clear space around your logo, measure exactly one X indicator unit from the farthest vertical and horizontal points of your logo. In our example, the furthest point on the left and to the bottom of our logo is the edge of the blue circle.
Use half the Icons height to determine the minimum amount of safe space that should surround the logo. If copy appears below the logo, you should measure safe space of 30 pixels from the bottom of the logo to the beginning of the text.
Logo Clearances This clear space should be free of imagery, graphics, folds or any other element that may interfere with the clarity of the brand. Clear Space Minimum:The space is measured by the cap height of the letter T as indicated below. Minimum reproduction size is 1.25 in length.
