Delete data from javascript indexedDB First, create a new transaction of the javascript indexedDB. Second, get an object store with the data and id. Third, call the delete() method of the object store to delete information. Finally, close the transaction connection of the database.

Deleting Documents Delete API. The Delete API in Elasticsearch allows you to remove a single document from an index based on its unique ID. Delete By Query API. Bulk API. When to use which API? Versioning. Refreshing shards. Running delete by query asynchronously. Throttling delete requests.
For this the best thing to do is to create a new index every day and them after 7 days. It is very very inefficient to 1/7 of and index every day. If you delete the index that should give you the space back within a few seconds.
We may also delete an index directly by editing indexes. conf, and removing the stanza of the index. Restart the indexer, then delete directories of the index.
sudo apt-get purge elasticsearch Uninstalls Elasticsearch and deletes its configuration files. sudo rm -rf /etc/elasticsearch Removes the Elasticsearch configuration directory. sudo rm -rf /usr/share/elasticsearch Removes the Elasticsearch installation directory.
To delete the index, you must roll over the data stream so a new write index is created. You can then use the delete index API to delete the previous write index.
Delete an index entry and update the index Select the entire index entry field, including the braces ({}), and then press DELETE. If you dont see the XE fields, go to Home Show/Hide . To update the index, click the index, and then press F9. Or go to References Update Index.
