Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, youll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
Select the text that you want to return to its default formatting. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click Clear All Formatting. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click Clear All Formatting. On the Message tab, in the Basic Text group, click Clear All Formatting.
Click the File tab in the top left corner. Select Options from the left side menu. In the General tab, look for the section titled User Interface Options. Click the Reset button to restore all of Words settings.
Word examines the document, and then displays the results in a list. The second item in the list is Document Properties and Personal Information. To the right of Document Properties and Personal Information is a button labeled Remove All. Click that button. Next click Close then save your document.
Right-click on the file. View its Properties. If there is metadata that you would like to remove, select the Details tab. Click Remove Properties and Personal Information.
Insert the Title document property field on the left. Use the right arrow key to deselect the document property field.
Step 1: In Word, go to File, click on Options Advanced. Step 2: Under Image Size and Quality, select High fidelity in the Default resolution list. Step 3: Select the Do not compress images in file check box.
Remove Metadata From Word Using a Mac Open the file from which you would like to remove metadata. Click on the Tools menu and select the Protect Document option. In the Protect Document window check the box next to Remove personal information from this file on save. Finish working on your document and then save.
