if youamp;#39;re like me you find it super annoying when you click on something and it highlights for example if I go to this map and I click on Texas I donamp;#39;t want it to highlight I donamp;#39;t want any of the states to highlight so to fix that Iamp;#39;m going to create a new calculated field Iamp;#39;m going to call it dummy and all it needs to be is some type of string so Iamp;#39;m just going to put Andy in there drag that field to the detail shelf and then up here on the highlighter on the toolbar click on the highlighter and choose dummy now when I click on a state it doesnamp;#39;t get highlighted go back to the bar chart drag dummy onto detail go up to the highlighter and choose dummy and now whenever I click on a bar nothing highlights and thatamp;#39;s it thatamp;#39;s how you remove the highlighting

XML files are encoded in plaintext, so you can open them in any text editor and be able to clearly read it. Right-click the XML file and select Open With. This will display a list of programs to open the file in. Select Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).
