Remove all headers and footers Go to Insert Header or Footer, and then select Remove Header or Remove Footer. If your document has more than one section, repeat this process for each section.
Remove headers or footers Go to Insert Header Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. Select the left, center, or right header or the footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page. Press Delete or Backspace.
Freezing and Unfreezing Headers To freeze a header row: Click on View in the menu bar. Hover over Freeze. Select the desired option: No rows, 1 row, 2 rows, or Up to current row.
