Using Macros that come with WordPerfect Create a new document, and type some random text. Save the file in your documents folder. Choose Tools ▸ Macro ▸ Macro Manager. In the list on the left, locate FILESTMP, and click the Run button. The macro has its own dialog box with options you can choose. Click OK.
How Do I Show or Hide Microsoft Word Field Codes? Open the document where the field codes are displayed. Press Alt+F9 to turn off field codes currently on the page. Click the Office button and select Word Options to turn off field codes by default. Select the Advanced tab in the Word Options window.
To copy the text format Click in the text whose format you want to copy. Click Format. QuickFormat. Enable one of the following options: Selected characters copies the format of the font and its attributes. Click OK. Drag the QuickFormat paintbrush pointer over the text to which you want to copy the format.
Simply type the information you want to search for in the File name text box, then choose Find Now. The other method is used when you want to build a more complicated search. In the Open File dialog box, choose Advanced to open the Advanced Find dialog box (see Figure 5).
Reveal Codes, one of the most popular features in WordPerfect Office, allows you to easily take control of all your document settings and styles.
You can also delete a code by using the mouse to click and drag the code out of the Reveal Codes window. Sifting through Reveal Codes can make anyone feel like docHubing for a pair of bifocals! A lot of codes are inserted at the top of a document, so look there first.
These codes surround the text that is affected by them, so the On code is found at the beginning of that text and the Off code is found at the end. If you apply italics to a word in a paragraph, for example, youll see an Italics On code and an Italics Off code on either side of the word.
