Sign out of Windows: If applications look blurry after connecting or disconnecting a monitor, docking or undocking your laptop, or changing your display scaling settings, signing out of Windows can fix this. Applications on your primary monitor should look crisp after logging back in.
If you find the text on the website blurry to see, you can use any of these 5 methods to read the blurred text: Online Unblur Tools. Use Line Apps Convert to Text Tool. Inspect Element Technique. Explore Third-Party Text Recognition Software. Try Browser Zoom Options.
How to adjust ClearType for better looking fonts on Windows 10 Click the Windows 10 Start button, to open the Search box. Click the check box next to Turn on ClearType. Click Next to see additional options. Click Yes, I want to tune all monitors now. Click Next when youre done.
How to Fix Blurry Text on Windows 10 Vary the DPI scaling in Windows Settings. Turn off DPI scaling. Let Windows automatically fix scaling for your apps. Change the DPI settings for specific apps. Change the screen resolution. Download and open Windows 10 DPI Fix. Revert to the default Windows 10 DPI scaling.
The text and images on your monitor look their best when viewed at your monitors native resolution. When you increase the scaling of that resolution, you arent adding new pixels to the image; youre just making the existing pixels look bigger, which can cause the image to appear blurry.
To fix this problem, set the font size to 100% to see whether the font looks clearer. To check the font size, follow these steps: Click Start, type Display in the Search box, and then click Display. Click Smaller - 100% (default), and then click Apply.
Changing the font may fix the problem. If the desired combination of point size and font are not installed on your computer, Windows will guess how to display the text by making algorithmic changes to the display character set in a different font size (or possibly even a different font).
If youre having trouble reading text or having trouble with font display on Windows 11, it may have something to do with the ClearType setting. Enabling ClearType helps improve text clarity and makes text easier to read. Click on Adjust ClearType text in Related Settings to turn it on.
