How to Fix the Jagged Font Problem Right click on My Computer (sometimes it is called This PC). This will bring up your computer properties. This will bring up System Properties as shown below. You need to make sure that you have Smooth edges of screen fonts enabled as shown below. Make sure you hit Apply then OK.
Low screen resolution can affect font clarity. For example, with a resolution of 800 x 600 (where the monitor supports higher resolutions), fonts can appear blurry. If you change the setting to a higher resolution, it might help the fonts look clearer.
Blurry text in Windows 10 happens most often when using a large, high-resolution display, such as a 4K UHD monitor. This is because Windows is designed to scale up the text on high-res displays to make it easier to read. Some people, however, complain that the scaling technique can sometimes cause blurry text.
If your fonts look blurry, you might have deactivated it by mistake. Right click on This PC and select Properties. Navigate to Advanced system settings. Select Settings under the Advanced tab. Check Smooth edges of screen fonts and click Apply. You are done!
If youre having trouble reading text or having trouble with font display on Windows 11, it may have something to do with the ClearType setting. Enabling ClearType helps improve text clarity and makes text easier to read. Click on Adjust ClearType text in Related Settings to turn it on.
To change your display in Windows, select Start Settings Accessibility Text size. To make only the text on your screen larger, adjust the slider next to Text size. To make everything larger, including images and apps, select Display , and then choose an option from the drop-down menu next to Scale.
If you find the text on the website blurry to see, you can use any of these 5 methods to read the blurred text: Online Unblur Tools. Use Line Apps Convert to Text Tool. Inspect Element Technique. Explore Third-Party Text Recognition Software. Try Browser Zoom Options.
