Windows Close all programs. Delete the following file: C:\Windows\System32\FNTCACHE.DAT. Restart your computer (and printer) This is important to rebuild the new Font Cache. Open your programs (like docHub InDesign or MS Word)
Blurry text in Windows 10 happens most often when using a large, high-resolution display, such as a 4K UHD monitor. This is because Windows is designed to scale up the text on high-res displays to make it easier to read. Some people, however, complain that the scaling technique can sometimes cause blurry text.
Click Start, type Display in the Search box, and then click Display. Click Change display settings. Click the drop-down list next to Resolution. Move the slider to the resolution that you want, and then click Apply.
How to Fix Blurry Text on Windows 10 Vary the DPI scaling in Windows Settings. Turn off DPI scaling. Let Windows automatically fix scaling for your apps. Change the DPI settings for specific apps. Change the screen resolution. Download and open Windows 10 DPI Fix. Revert to the default Windows 10 DPI scaling.
Right-click on the blurred text, select Inspect to open the developer tools, and locate the HTML or CSS responsible for the blur effect. Adjusting the relevant parameters can often reveal the clear text.
If your fonts look blurry, you might have deactivated it by mistake. Right click on This PC and select Properties. Navigate to Advanced system settings. Select Settings under the Advanced tab. Check Smooth edges of screen fonts and click Apply. You are done!
For Windows: Go to START SETTINGS CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY (or right-click your desktop). Click the EFFECTS tab. Check Smooth edges of screen fonts. ( see image below) Click OK to close window and apply settings. Enjoy!
