Hey friends! Im Tasia and this video will show you how to quickly clear space in Gmail, freeing up that precious extra Google Drive storage. You may remember from another video I did on my favorite Google Drive features, that your Gmail storage is included as part of your overall Google Drive storage. I also let you know in that video that you get about 15GB of free storage - sometimes more if you link a business account to your personal gmail, and create a G Suite, but, this means, its super important to keep your gmail inbox as lean as possible. You can click up here or again at the end of this video if you want a refresher on all that Google Drive has to offer. So, heres an easy way to clear up your Gmail space. Rather than spending hours and hours clicking through all your old emails, from oldest to newest, or even searching for specific senders, and deleting content that way, I find there are 2 much quicker ways to free up space. On your computer, go to Gmail. On the left of each message you want to delete, check the box. At the top, click Delete .
At the top of your inbox, above the message list, hover until a check box appears. Then, select the check box to highlight the messages on the page. In the reading pane, select Select everything. Select Delete.

Use Clean Up Conversation to tidy up your email conversations and reduce the number of messages in your inbox. Select an email conversation that youd like to clean up. (On the simplified ribbon) On the Home tab, select the arrow next to Delete Clean Up Conversation. If prompted, confirm by selecting Clean Up.
