How to mass delete emails on Gmail Log in to your Gmail account. Check the box at the top of your inbox, to the left of the refresh button. Click the blue text that reads Select all X conversations in Primary. Click the delete button, which looks like a trash can.
Try it! Select an email conversation that youd like to clean up. (On the simplified ribbon) On the Home tab, select the arrow next to Delete Clean Up Conversation. You can also clean up entire Folders. (On the classic ribbon) On the Home tab, select. If prompted, confirm by selecting Clean Up.

Once selected, tap the delete/trash icon. You can also click on the Select all option on the top left. This will let you select the first 50 emails in your inbox. However, if you scroll past them and hit the Select all button again, the app will allow you to choose an additional 50, making it 100!
Resolution Check the box at the top in the menu bar to select all emails on that page. Click Select all [NUMBER] conversations in [LOCATION] under the box you just checked. Click the trash can icon at the top. You may be asked to Confirm Bulk Action.
Email cleaning best practices Keep your inbox organized. Set up weekly reminders. Remember to unsubscribe. Use tags to label emails. Block your spam instead of deleting it. Use folders more often.
Open Mail and go to your Inbox. Tap Edit in the upper-right corner, then individually select the emails that you want to delete, or tap Select All. To select multiple emails quickly, swipe down through the checkboxes. Tap Trash or Archive.
Resolution Check the box at the top in the menu bar to select all emails on that page. Click Select all [NUMBER] conversations in [LOCATION] under the box you just checked. Click the trash can icon at the top. You may be asked to Confirm Bulk Action. Click OK.
