Open a document that contains comments. Select the Review tab in the ribbon. Under Delete, select Delete all comments in Document.
Delete all comments Select a comment. On the Review tab, go to Comments. In the Delete drop-down list, select Delete All Comments in Document.
A possible explanation might be that this template and its comments were created using an older Word version that used the legacy Comments feature, whereas youre now using the Modern Comments feature.
Removing individual comments is simple: right-click on the comment, select Delete Comment, and it will erase it completely. You can also hover your mouse over the comment and select Resolve.
Right-click in the comment and select Resolve Comment.
Resolving a comment means that it is no longer visible to other users and is considered resolved. It is useful when there is no further need for discussion on that particular comment. Resolving comments helps to keep the focus on the relevant information.
Heres how. Click the Review tab in the toolbar. Look for the Comments section and click the dropdown menu next to it. Youll see options like: Show Markup, Final Showing Markup, and Final. Select Final and all comments will be gone!
