so a great question came in on my latest video on the new checkboxes in Excel the answer is yes but there is a caveat so in this example I have checkboxes here and Iamp;#39;ll just type equals in this cell that contains a checkbox to create a formula select this True Value here and hit enter and we can see that that checkbox is checked if I was to change this value to false that would be unchecked now the caveat here is that you can no longer click the checkbox once thereamp;#39;s a formula in the cell for it however where this can be useful is in this example here I have all these expense sheets for this budget and I have a checkbox at the top of each to uh when the user completes the form so we can go over here to our Master checklist and Iamp;#39;m going to say equals now and then select this cell right here that contains the checkbox and hit enter and now as the user completing this and they click the button up here at the top or the check box at the top then can go back over to
