The \cleardoublepage command will put in a blank page, but it will have the running headers and footers. To get a really blank page, use this command. If you want LaTeXs standard \chapter command to do this then add the line \let\cleardoublepage\clearemptydoublepage .
The \clearpage command ends the current page and causes all figures and tables that have so far appeared in the input to be printed.
By default, your LaTeX document has a Chapter name (Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.) for each chapter. If you want to remove such chapter name from your document, then you can use titlesec package and define the titleformat in order to hide the chapter title.
Select Home Show/Hide . This will display non-printing charactersparagraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc.that you may want to see while youre working on your document. Double-click the page break so that its selected, and then press Delete.
Try adding openany to the \documentclass options. The default is openright . One way to remove ALL the blank pages is to use the [oneside] option for book. Another is use \let\cleardoublepage=\clearpage .
The first way is go to second page and you need to the top of the second page and then what you do, press the backspace of your keyboard. So, once you press it for 2-3 times, the second page will be deleted.
The \pagebreak command tells LaTeX to break the current page at the point of the command. With the optional argument, number , you can convert the \pagebreak command from a demand to a request. The number must be a number from 0 to 4. The higher the number, the more insistent the request is.
To suppress page numbers on a single page, use \thispagestyle{empty} somewhere within the text of the page. Note that, in the standard classes, \maketitle and \chapter use \thispagestyle internally, so your call must be after those commands.
