To remove your signature, right-click the signature and then choose Clear Signature. If you got a signed PDF, you can request the signer to remove the signature and share the PDF or send an unsigned copy of the PDF.
Provided the document isnt locked, you can then remove your own signature from the PDF by simply right-clicking the signature and choosing the Clear Signature option. This should remove the signature, allowing you to edit or re-sign the PDF.
Check file permissions. If you cant e-sign the document or even type in the fillable fields, the file could be set to read-only mode. This file protection mode prevents any changes, which might be why you cant sign a PDF.
A normal PDF reader wont let you do this youll need to download a PDF converter. Then, head to the toolbar and click PDF to Word (or the equivalent). Once its converted, you should be able to find the digital signature field and delete the signature.
Anyhow, the steps to do so are as follows: Launch docHub Pro and open the PDF document with sign protection you wish to remove. Press Ctrl+D to open document properties. Navigate to the Security tab. Choose the No Security option. docHub Pro will ask for confirmation to remove security.
For instance, they can open docHub Reader for Android or iOS and take the following steps: Open the PDF in docHub Reader. Tap on the three dots at the top-right corner, and click Edit PDF. Tap on the signature, and then click Delete. Click Done to close the editing process and save the edited file.
