In the XML Source task pane, click XML Maps. The XML Maps dialog box is displayed. Select the XML map that you want to delete. Click Delete, and then click OK.
You should use removeAttribute() instead of setting the attribute value to null either directly or using setAttribute() . Many attributes will not behave as expected if you set them to null .
The removeAttribute() method removes an attribute, and does not have a return value. The removeAttributeNode() method removes an Attr object, and returns the removed object. The result will be the same.
getAttributeValue() This method returns the value of the target attribute. You must use the other XML get methods to navigate through an XML document.
In the XML Files explorer, right-click the XML file or XML element that you want to remove and click Delete.
xml is loaded into xmlDoc. Set the variable y to be the element node to remove. Remove the element node by using the removeChild() method from the parent node.
RemoveAttribute(String, String) Removes an attribute with the specified local name and namespace URI. (If the removed attribute has a default value, it is immediately replaced).
Solution. Set the ignoreWhite property to true before loading external data into an XML object or before parsing any string into an XML object, or use a custom removeWhitespace( ) method to remove whitespace nodes after loading data or for legacy purposes.
