You should use removeAttribute() instead of setting the attribute value to null either directly or using setAttribute() . Many attributes will not behave as expected if you set them to null .
To reset all field values in an HTML form, you can use the attribute. When the reset button is clicked, the form will be restored to its default state, without any of the values that were previously entered in the fields, checkboxes, or radio buttons.
HTML DOM Element remove() The remove() method removes an element (or node) from the document.
elements of type reset are rendered as buttons, with a default click event handler that resets all inputs in the form to their initial values.
The clear attribute in HTML is used to control the flow of elements, especially when dealing with floated elements. It specifies on which sides of an element floating elements are not allowed to float. It can take four values: left, right, both, and none.
To remove all attributes of elements, we use the removeAttributeNode() method and . removeAllAttributes().
