hi Iamp;#39;m Justin Conway Iamp;#39;m Microsoft Excel expert and Iamp;#39;m going to walk you through the steps to uh removing a drop- down box in Microsoft Excel so letamp;#39;s take the Excel sheet that I currently have open and we have um dropdowns in column I here um as you can see uh different options so letamp;#39;s say I want to keep the value apples in that area but I want to delete the actual dropdown so that nothing else can be selected what Iamp;#39;ll do is for this one cell Iamp;#39;ll go into Data validate data validation and now Iamp;#39;m accessing the information thatamp;#39;s held in that cell right now I can change it from list under the allow area to any value and select okay and as you can see the data apples is still available in that cell but the dropdown is gone if you want to perform this function for the entire list of dropdowns that you have you can go ahead and do that using the same function um the other way to do this is if you want to remove all

Excel arrows wont move cells, probably because youve unknowingly enabled the scroll lock on your keyboard. So, you must disable that feature to get the arrows to work again. Check the light on the Scroll Lock button of your keyboard to see if this is the case.
