Remove space after figure and before text \floatsep - Space between floats. \dblfloatsep for 2 column format. \intextsep - Space above and below in-line text floats. \abovecaptionskip - Space above float caption. \belowcaptionskip - Space below float caption.
A clean way to reduce the spacing in float environments (e.g. figures and tables) is to change their formatting globally on the document. A little bit of space can be gained by abbreviating references to figures and tables and by using the abbreviations in the captions: \renewcommand{\figurename}{Fig.}
Remove the blank page generated between chapter : Done with the etoolbox package : \patchcmd{\chapter}{\if@openright\cleardoublepage\else\clearpage\fi}{}{}{} Remove the Chapter Number Something : Done with the titlesec package : \titleformat{\chapter}[display]{\normalfont\bfseries}}{}{0pt}{\Huge}
%% Allow Latex to use a smaller minimum spacing between lines. %% Shrink space between lines.
Does it work to simply change \vspace{-\baselineskip} to \vspace{-1.8\baselineskip} or some such? If not, try putting either \vspace{-1ex} or \vskip -1ex before the minipage in question. If those dont work, try putting \vbox{} in front of the vspace command.
Include \setlength{\cftbeforesubsecskip}{6pt} and \setlength{\cftbeforesubsubsecskip}{6pt} to get custom spacing between sub- and subsub- sections in the toc. Thanks!
Spaces after Commands To generate a space after a text-producing command you can use \.
You can use the enumitem package to change the spacing between the entries. \item Line 1. \item Line 2.
Select the lines of bulleted text. Right-click and choose Paragraph from the context-menu. Change the Spacing values to something more preferable. Defaults are 10pt for Before, and 0pt for After.
You can reduce the gap between table columns by using \setlength{\tabcolsep}{1pt}.
