hey guys this is going to be a video tutorial showing you how to format a block quote in apa format i believe its almost the exact same in apa form i mean sorry mla format but this is specifically apa so i have a very long quote right here apa states that it should be 40 words or more depend on your professor sometimes people say four lines or more sometimes people say two lines or more so make sure that your you know your professors requirements but apa standard i believe for right now is 40 words or more and what you do is you put your cursor just like i did right here in front of the quote and then press enter and then put it at the end of the quote and again press enter so that it looks like its own paragraph now its not how its going to stay youre going to take off the quotation marks because block quotes do not have quotation marks and then you can highlight this and drag the triangle click and drag i mean its not working but click and drag the triangle over to the 0.5 mar
