Keep in mind, the entire printer doesnt need to be cleaned after each print job; it is most important to clean the print heads, roller, and build tray after each print job. The UV lens, print head wiper, and roller bath should be cleaned weekly.
We recommend rinsing the print using soapy water or isopropyl alcohol, depending on the filament. Simply drop the print in the liquid and scrub using a sponge or paper towel. Be careful not to scrub too hard, as you could potentially discolor or damage the part.
Damp cloth: If the dirt stain is stubborn and cannot be brushed away, a damp cotton swab or microfiber cloth works pretty well. Hold the print vertically and rub the blemish gently. Wipe off the moisture with a dry cloth and place the artwork in direct sunlight for quick drying.
Clean the printhead from the HP Utility Windows: In the Support tab of the HP Utility, select Printhead Cleaning, and follow the instructions on the screen. A standard Print Head Cleaning cycle is done by clicking Cleaning on the Maintenance tab, then waiting a little bit until a message comes up; confirm it and click Print Check Pattern. Cleaning the printer from the PC To run automatic cleaning, check your printer display menu and select Printer Maintenance. Then, choose Clean Printhead. In general, use isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth or swab -- the alcohol evaporates quickly without leaving residue. If the print nozzles are clogged, you might have a more involved cleaning procedure ahead of you.
