so iamp;#39;m going to show you how i cleaned up these scanned recipes to create a cookbook i was given a number of very old handwritten recipes on yellowing paper with all sorts of food spatters and ink splatters and little things you want to not necessarily have on your recipe um and the person who ordered the cookbook wanted to keep all these handwritten notes that were in pencil the writing but none of the yellowing paper in the background or any of the lines or anything that wasnamp;#39;t just the handwritten words so this is how i did it so i scanned each recipe and iamp;#39;m now in photoshop i have two layers iamp;#39;m going to go to this bottom layer and add white all over that will be useful later on and here layer 0 is my scanned recipe the first thing iamp;#39;m going to do is down here iamp;#39;m going to use the levels in order to enhance the dark colors which is what iamp;#39;m doing right now and brighten the light colors so you see iamp;#39;m left with somethi
