Hi this is Gary with MacMost.com. Letamp;#39;s take a look at the new default font feature in Pages. MacMost is brought to you thanks to a great group of supporters. Go to MacMost.com/patreon. There you can read more about it, join us, and get exclusive content. So weamp;#39;re looking at Pages version 8.2 for Mac which was released on September 30th. This version has some new features. Youamp;#39;ll see this pop-up the first time that you launch Pages version 8.2 but you can go to Help and then Whatamp;#39;s New in Pages. The main new feature here is Set Default Font and Font Size. Thatamp;#39;s what weamp;#39;re going to look at. If we go to Pages Preferences we can look here and see this new feature. It is under Default Font right here. So weamp;#39;ll select it and itamp;#39;s going to come up with this little menu here where we can choose a Font and Font Size. It will tell us that this will only work for the Basic templates and itamp;#39;s going to affect the Body paragra

To smooth the fonts on your screen: Open System Preferences and click Appearance. To turn on font smoothing in Mac OS X v10. 6 or later, select Use LCD font smoothing when available. If you plan to use small font sizes in your document, choose a point size from the Turn off text smoothing for font sizes pop-up menu.
Uninstalling and removing a font Open the Font Book app on your Mac. Locate the font or fonts that you wish to uninstall and remove. Select the font/fonts and uninstall and remove the font by right-clicking and click Remove Font Name Family.
To clear the macOS font cache follow these steps note that you need to restart your Mac afterwards: Close Typeface. Hold down the Option key and launch Typeface. Keep pressing Option until you see the support tools. Choose the Clear Font Cache option and confirm. Restart your Mac.
Remove fonts that you dont use In Control Panel, type Fonts in the search box at the top right. Under Fonts, click Preview, delete, or show and hide fonts. Select the font that you want to remove, and then click Delete. Delete the fonts that you dont want.
Change the font or font size in Pages on Mac Select the text you want to change. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. Click the Font pop-up menu, then choose a font. Click the small arrows to the right of the font size to make the font larger or smaller.
In the Font Book app on your Mac, choose File New Smart Collection, then enter a name for your collection. Click the pop-up menu under Collection name, then choose All to find fonts that match all the criteria you enter, or Any to match any one of the criteria.
Remove fonts In the Font Book app on your Mac, select one or more fonts, then press Delete. Click Remove Fonts or Remove Non-System Fonts to confirm.
How to Fonts on Apple Pages Step 1: Open the Font Book App. To a font, first, add a font to the Font Book app by locating the Font you want to use. Step 2: Transfer Font File to Font Book. Step 3: the Font. Step 4: Validate Fonts.
