whatamp;#39;s up guys welcome back to the channel and i want to share a tip with you today maybe blatantly obvious uh but it took me a long time to figure it out um and thatamp;#39;s how iamp;#39;m gonna engrave these leatherette patches i do a bunch of these i used to engrave them and then they would have the black soot all over the patch and i would have to clean each individual patch and it was just a nightmare i mean it was just terrible situation so i want to teach you something today maybe you donamp;#39;t know maybe weamp;#39;ll help you in the future about a way easier way to do this now iamp;#39;ve been buying my leatherette from jds that the self-adhesive kind and some of you have probably seen the video i made where i was putting adhesive on the back of leatherette from jds um iamp;#39;ve gone to bind theirs and this is why it does cost a little more but the adhesive that they use is sticky so if youamp;#39;re applying it yourself to the hat when you go to stick it o

What do you clean laser with?

Clean your CO2 laser mirrors with single-use Lens Cleaning Paper Tissue soaked in isopropyl or denatured alcohol of 90% or higher. You can also use a lint-free microfiber cloth, but be sure it is very clean. Do not be tempted to use cheaper cleaning solutions as they can leave residues behind.

How to clean laser engraved acrylic?

Cleaning laser cut acrylic Always use non-abrasive fabric to clean acrylic, such as a lint-free anti-static or microfibre cloth. If the surface is dirty, use a small amount of mild detergent and dont put too much pressure on the acrylic as you clean it.

Is baking soda or borax better for laser engraving?

From what we can tell, the different results seen between Borax and Baking Soda, when used for laser engraving, are not extreme but borax tends to yield better results. That being said playing with the ratios of baking soda to water might bring out better results.

How do you clean metal after laser engraving?

Simply wipe off with a moistened cloth, followed by a wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Nano sponges (often referred to as dirt erasers) or erasers can also be very helpful when removing resistant residue.

What is the best cleaner for laser engraving?

For this method, you will need a paper towel and white vinegar. To clean your laser engraved wood, dab your paper towel in vinegar (you can also use a soft piece of cloth) and then use it to wipe off the residue on your wood. Simply repeat the process until you are satisfied with the result.
