hi its amy your mac mentor here and today im going to show you three tips for managing large amounts of email the first tip ill show you is in apple mail and as you can see i have 1190 messages in my inbox and theyre from all different senders so i want to sort these by the sender so im going to click on my inbox and then im going to view and sort by from this makes it really simple for me to see all the different senders and i can quickly go through any ones that are junk and just delete those as i go through im selecting the first one and then scrolling down and selecting the last one holding down the shift key and then my delete key or you can use this little trash can icon at the top okay now dont forget to put your sort back by the date put that back when youre done sorting so thats one tip the other thing you can do if youre not ready to look through all of your messages just yet you can set up a rule in mail so im going to create an archive folder so to do that im
