Unlike a personal loan, there is no set schedule to repay the money you borrow from a line of credit. However, you must make monthly interest payments on any amount you borrow, as interest begins to accrue from the very first day you borrow the money until the day you pay it back.

In other words, a facility is a credit card that you may make repayments on depending on the used amount of credit. A loan is one amount that is borrowed from a lender or a banking institute.
A facility agent acts as the primary point of contact between the transaction parties to a syndicated loan. They are appointed to manage the communication between the borrower and the lenders in addition to handling the flow of funds and providing ongoing transaction support.
The agencies consist of mortgage investors who purchase mortgages from lenders and then package these loans into mortgage-backed securities for sale to investors on the secondary mortgage market.
A lending agent facilitates the transaction by seeking out a borrower and negotiating the loan terms on behalf of the fund sponsor. Borrowers are also represented by a third party, such as a prime broker or a bank, and typically include hedge funds looking to open a short position and other market participants.
An annual-clean up is a banking practice that requires a borrower to pay off all balances on any renewable lines of credit and keep them at zero for a specified period of time. The time frame that a borrower must keep balances at zero usually ranges from 30 to 60 days and can even stretch to 90.
Credit facilities are a type of pre-approved loan which allows the borrower to borrow money on an ongoing basis over an extended period of time, rather than applying for a new loan each time the borrower needs more money.
Traditional loans award funds to the borrower upfront; the borrower is then assessed an amortization schedule of payments to return the principal and interest charges back to the lender. A credit facility is more flexible, as the agreement allows a borrower to take on debt only when it needs.
