hey everybody howamp;#39;s it going whatamp;#39;s that you want to know how to import a CSV or an ASCII text file full of points into civil3d well youamp;#39;re in luck because thatamp;#39;s what weamp;#39;re talking about today okay first thing Iamp;#39;m going to do is Iamp;#39;m going to go into the Settings tab go to the points section and check out the point file formats because I need a format in here thatamp;#39;s going to match the format of my ascii text file so youamp;#39;ll need to open this up and check this out iamp;#39;ve got point number northing easting elevation and description it looks like and I might be able to find one in here but if you checked out the last segment which was point file formats we would have already made a point file format and we call that one Rickamp;#39;s point file format so in that one weamp;#39;ve got it mapped out so that itamp;#39;s called a comma delimited thereamp;#39;s my delimiter point and what my all my columns represent
