Remove duplicate values Select the range of cells or ensure that the active cell is in a table. On the Data tab, click Remove Duplicates (in the Data Tools group). Do one or more of the following: Click OK, and a message will appear to indicate how many duplicate values were removed, or how many unique values remain.

The basics of cleaning your data Insert a new column (B) next to the original column (A) that needs cleaning. Add a formula that will transform the data at the top of the new column (B). Fill down the formula in the new column (B). Select the new column (B), copy it, and then paste as values into the new column (B).
How to remove data validation in Excel Select the cell(s) with data validation. On the Data tab, click the Data Validation button. On the Settings tab, click the Clear All button, and then click OK.
Remove Data Validation in Excel Visit the Data tab, click on Data Validation, and then select Clear All. To remove a drop-down list, you would follow the same steps of selecting cells using a list, visiting the Data tab, selecting Data Validation, and then Clear All.
Remove data validation - Select the cell or cells that contain the validation you want to delete, go to Data Data Validation and in the data validation dialog box press Clear All, and then select OK.
Select the cells where you want to delete checkboxes and drop-downs (all of them at once or select particular cells while pressing Ctrl). Go to Data Data validation in the Google Sheets menu. This will get rid of all drop-downs first. Then press Delete to clear away the remaining checkboxes from the same selection.
