hey guys its Sam away from textile studios and in this tutorial Im going to show you how to smooth out rough brush once using docHub Illustrator so select the type tool and then click anywhere in the document and type out your text Im going to use our font November starlight for this you can then select the direct selection tool and click and drag your text into position and if I just zoom in you can see that this fun has a lot of rough edges and so those are left in just to kind of maintain the authentic hand-painted look but they can cause problems when it comes to things like laser cutters so Im going to show you how you can smooth that out so if you head to object and choose rasterize and then click OK and then head to window and select image trace choose silhouettes from the drop-down menu and that will smooth out most of the rough areas and kind of fill in all the little holes so what Ill do is zoom in now and just show you so you can see here its much smoother than the ori
