When editing a document, special symbols may be needed, not directly entered by the keyboard. To insert these symbols, click on the Insert tab, then the Symbol drop-down button. Options include Recently Used Symbols and Custom Symbols. More Symbols opens a dialog box with additional symbols. Font selection in the Symbols tab changes symbol style. Subset classification helps locate symbols quickly.
