hi friends in this video I will tell you how to remove some color stains from an Indian note this is probably a 10 rupee is not not a big note just for the demonstration I got this note from North India and since I am South India its not working this note was vandalized during the time of Holi you can see the serial number of the note so that the video should not look because I will use the same serial number of note throughout the video to remove the stain so what you require is a paint thinner which is easily available in any hardware store and this is a cap which I am going for but which I am going to use as a plate so I have some one old bottle some some little bit thinner is there so before performing the experiment I will take a sample whether it is working or not so this is the same note you can see the serial number now I will fold it and keep it in this plate and Ill put some thinner over it so what thinner does so it will absorb all the colour till it gets saturated s

What is SBP clean note policy?

Only clean banknotes are to be issued to public and account holders whereas the soiled notes are to be deposited by these commercial banks to the field offices of SBP-BSC. For the purpose the field offices are required to ensure that the unfit notes are withdrawn from circulation for their destruction as per procedure.

To suit public convenience, the exchange facility for mutilated notes is also offered through TLR(Triple Lock Receptacle) covers.

Which notes are not accepted in bank?

Currency notes which are extremely brittle or are burnt, disfigured, charred or inseparably pieced together, shall not be accepted by the bank branches for exchange facility.

Does bank take washed notes?

Soiled, mutilated or imperfect currency notes are not useless. Such notes can be exchanged by any bank branch or Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issue office on the condition that they are not . Importantly, notes on which religious or political slogans are written cease to be legal tender and are not exchangeable.

Can we deposit soiled notes in bank?

Mutilated notes can also be sent to any of the RBI offices by registered/insured post. Notes which have become excessively soiled, brittle or are burnt and, therefore, cannot withstand normal handling can be exchanged only at Issue Office of the RBI.
