so i know this video isnt to do with tools time or travel but i thought it might benefit somebody that owns one of these laptops so this is a dell xps 13 and the problem im going to describe applies to this laptop and the 15. and ive seen it online and it happened to me the problem is that the keyboard on this laptop is inset below this surface which means that there is a ridge that runs along here and on my first laptop that i had i had this exact same laptop i noticed there was a scratch running right across the screen horizontally luckily the company i bought the laptop from had an excellent warranty service and they replaced it because they deemed it a design floor but what happens is when you close the lid the there is nothing to stop the glass contacting this raised ridge section here which led to me having a scratch in whatever coating is on this screen and other people online have had the same problem so i tried to think of a solution and what i came up with was to buy some
