this video will quickly go over the maintenance and work order tab theres only one setting in this page the default work order status controls the work order status thats assigned to a new work order this setting only affects new work orders created within the CMMS from the work orders module or directly from an asset right now my default work order status is open if I go and create a new work order we can see that the work order status is open however at my facility I usually create incomplete work orders and save the changes then update them later before I set the work orders to active Im going to set my default work order status to on hold so that I dont accidentally create an active and incomplete work order now if i go to work orders new my work order status is pending on hold and thats it for the maintenance and work order settings thanks for watching the video
