yeah I want to go over something Im doing here to actually clean up these old light sockets just replace them - thats another thing but you notice you have this is the positive side and the black side is it the ground first thing you want to do to see if well you know it could just be a stupid ground or something and the ground but you could take a probe stick it in here and check it and you see the meter went down to zero well the ground the ground actually I cleaned these up we were really very corroded they were obviously corroded and I was trying to clean them with a little bit of emery paper on the end of this and pushing it inside this inside the socket itself inside the socket and it didnt really clean it up it still wasnt um I still wasnt getting any volts or anything so I got checked I would check the other side - I would put this on bolts and when he turned the ignition on you would check that side to the ground and see if you got volts because it could just be one side
