hey everybody welcome back im carlean and today i want to walk you through how i clean up my sketches from a super rough state like this to a clean illustration now i want to note that my original sketches i do in a sketchbook and i do very small and i do that because i dont want to get too tight early on in my stage of drawing when im coming up with concepts so i work really small in my sketchbook and then i just take that super rough drawing and i put it in photoshop and i just start drawing over it now youll notice that im still not going instantly super duper clean im still staying a little bit sketchy as im re-figuring out the positioning of the legs and the arms and even the clothing that will go around it im also still putting in the lines for like where the head will go to help me keep the shape of the body and then once i have that rough done then i start going in and i start cleaning it up further but again i tend to do this pretty rough still i tend to keep my lines
