If your eraser soils your drawing, it's too dirty... Clean classical erasers by rubbing them with a cotton cloth or washing them in soapy water (don't forget to dry them before using them). Kneaded erasers are self-cleaning. By kneading them, you enclose the charcoal pigment inside the eraser and use a clean part.
On the menu, choose Draw > Construction Line > Erase. On the Construction Line toolbar, click the Erase tool. Type cline, choose Erase, and then press Enter. 2 Select one or more construction lines to delete.
Eraser– I use a good quality vinyl eraser to clean up the larger areas around my drawings. I am currently using the Derwent erasers but any white eraser would be fine. Also, make sure that your eraser is clean before you use it on your white paper. I know this from experience.

Place Some Paper Under Your Hand to Stop Your Drawings from Smudging. The classic way to guard against smudging a drawing is to place a piece of CLEAN paper under your hand whilst you draw. Use plain smooth paper, something like photocopy paper, wax paper, or tracing paper.
