welcome to unit 2 cleaning up raw data in this unit we will look at the raw data again and do some basic formatting and formula exercises to clean up the data so its ready for us to analyze now were going to be using some of the Excel skills you learn in class one in terms of formulas and functions to clean up a raw data set that isnt exactly perfect yet for analyzing a lot of times youll get data from a database or from someone else in your company and it still has like extra characters or is not you know filtered correctly and you just have to kind of quickly massage the data a little bit to make sure its ready for you to analyze because if youre trying to analyze data thats not correctly formatted or contains incorrect values then thats not going to be useful at all right so were going to do some quick um its kind of tidying up with the data before we actually analyze it and this is a very common practice because sometimes when you get data from like a database that comes

The short answer is: yes. Converting a RAW file to JPEG affects the quality of the image itself. The only thing that changes is the format - raw files are typically converted to JPEGs so they can be viewed on devices like computers, phones, and cameras.
The main advantage of shooting in RAW is that you end up with high-quality files to edit into the best possible image. Capturing and storing all the details that pass through your camera's sensors means RAW files contain a wider dynamic range and far greater color spectrum than JPEGs.
How to brighten an image online? Open Raw.pics.io image converter and editor by pressing START. Drop image that you want to make brigher. Click Edit on the left to open Raw.pics.io editing tool. Find Brightness/Contrast in the panel of instruments on the right. Move the Brightness slider to make your photo brigher.
If you wish to make a quick edit or directly use the image for social media, go with JPEGs. If you wish to edit the same image seriously, use the RAW file. I hope next time you import an image to Lightroom, these experiments will encourage you to shoot and edit in RAW format.
High-Quality Image Files With the RAW format, your camera is collecting everything it can see and storing it for you so you can process these details yourself. This means you have high-quality image files to work with during processing, and can create the best image possible.
The blurry is most likely a combination of exposure and no sharpening has been done. It is exactly how Sensor saw the image. That is why it is called the RAW Format. Thats why you go to the Photoshop to: process, cook or bake it.
Raw files particularly benefit from some kind of sharpening, as they are not processed files like JPEGs. Remember, JPEG files have already been sharpened by the camera at the point of capture, but raw files are like the digital equivalent of a negative.
Sharpen photos Use the Apply Sharpening To option in the Camera Raw preferences to specify whether sharpening is applied to all images or just to previews. Note: To open preferences from within Camera Raw, click the Open Preferences Dialog button in the toolbar. Zoom the preview image to at least 100%.
It's because when you shoot in JPEG mode, your camera applies sharpening, contrast, color saturation, and all sorts of little tweaks to create a fully processed, good-looking final image.
1) Your monitor might not be color managed properly. 2) Raw images tend to render after a while and only when you see the image loaded/rendered completely you should start considering it for editing. Image captured on the camera and the rendered one on your desktop will appear different.
