well hello and welcome back to ics making repair well heres a Stanley number three hand plane um I got this many years ago and I havent done anything with it its been just stored in a shop and when I did get it it had been lying on its side in this sides fairly badly pitted its actually a remarkably good condition otherwise apart from surface rust I dont think its done very much work I think just guessing I dont even know if the blades mean uh sharpened once even its its done minimal work there you go never even honed once never even home sorry never even honed once not even a cross mark on it at all from a stone at all um I cant tell on the front if its been high in the front but usually when you hold or sharpen a blade you give a couple of swipes in the back like that to sharpen it uh to take the Burr off I should say and theres no marks whatsoever on the back showing that it hasnt been sharpened at all once um oil there Id say from the factory so like I say hasnt r
