Limit line length to 100 characters Limiting the line length improves the readability of git diffs and history. It also makes it easier for other writers to make contributions. Hide or remove content To hide Markdown, use the {toggle} directive. To hide or remove code cells or their outputs, use notebook cell tags.
The table of contents (TOC) is implemented as Markdown list. A TOC is just a type of Markdown lists.
A table is an arrangement of data in rows and columns. To add a table in Markdown, use the vertical line | to separate each column, and use three or more dahses --- to create each columns header. A vertical line should also be added at either end of the row.
To create a table of contents, add a [[TOC]]. The TOC is generated when the tag gets added and theres at least one heading on the page. The [[TOC]] can be placed anywhere in the page to render the table of contents. Only Markdown headings are considered for TOC (HTML heading tags arent considered).
Table of contents. Run command Create Table of Contents (in the VS Code Command Palette) to insert a new table of contents. The TOC is automatically updated on file save by default. To disable, please change the toc.
