[Music] i want to thank everybody for coming out today were here today primarily to make sure that the community is aware of the upcoming event this being the 35th annual jt menifee anderson citywide cleanup as you know many of you participated in this over the years and if it wasnt for all of your efforts it wouldnt be what it has become but it is a great event it is a good opportunity its a great way to start the spring as we move into the summer and help get our communities cleaned up this event this year will be on may 21st on saturday starting at eight oclock in the morning running until four oclock and we asked that uh folks take advantage of this great opportunity im going to talk about it here a little bit more in detail but before i do id like to bring up a gentleman to talk about the namesake of this event which is jt menifee again this was an idea of reverend menifee back nearly 35 years ago and he and a group of folks worked hard to bring this about and we honor him
