Press Windows Key + R Key together, type certmgr. msc, and hit enter. You will get a new window with the list of Certificates installed on your computer. Locate the certificate you want to delete and then click on the Action button then, click on Delete.
To remove the certificate from the browser, follow these steps: Open Google Chrome, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon (the three vertical dots ) go to Settings at the left margin, click Privacy and security click Security. Under Advanced, click Manage certificates.
In the Content tab, youll find the Clear SSL state button, along with buttons for Certificates and Publishers. To clear the SSL cache for the Google Chrome browser, simply click the Clear SSL state button.
Within the Privacy and security section, go to Manage certificates. The expired electronic certificate should appear in the Personal tab. Select the appropriate one and press Remove.
How To Verify SSL Certificates In Windows? To check if SSL certificate is installed, you can use the Certificate Manager tool and check its validity period. Another alternative option is to use the sigcheck Windows Sysinternals utility to verify TLS version.
Start the Windows Control Panel. In the Find a setting text box, type internet options, and then click Internet Options. Click the Content tab. In the Certificates section, click Clear SSL state, and then click OK.
How to fix SSL certificate errors in Chrome for users Open Chrome and click on the menu (the three vertical dots in the top right hand corner of the browser). In the dropdown menu, click Settings. Toward the end of the page, click on advanced. In the Privacy and security box, select Clear browsing data.
Clearing the SSL state eliminates the problems of caching certificates since it wipes out the cache. Doing this shouldnt be necessary in day-to-day computing, since resetting your computer or, in some cases, closing your browser, will also clear your SSL state.
Within the Privacy and security section, go to Manage certificates. The expired electronic certificate should appear in the Personal tab. Select the appropriate one and press Remove. A window will appear for you to confirm if you want to delete the certificate, click Yes.
