If the tarnishing is mild, sometimes just rubbing the pin with your fingers will sort it out, as the oil from your fingers can remove the tarnished layer. If the tarnishing is heavier, then you can use silver polish and a soft cotton cloth to clean your pin.

To get to the edges of the badge, youll need a soft-bristled brush. An old, clean soft (it must be soft) toothbrush will work a treat. Using the brush, lightly scrub around the edges of the badge to loosen up any trapped dirt and grime. Some areas with heavier build-up may require some more attention.
