The class contains a list of all the characteristics we have created. It is created under the class type 032 which is the class type for release strategy.
Transaction code: CT04 If you want to configure the release strategy for single document type, you need to select Single Values in Value Assignment block and if it is required for multiple document type then select Multiple Values radio button.
With ME29N you cannot cancel a release strategy once the document has been printed out. This behaviour constitutes a new design. Regarding ME28 it has been decided to keep the old behaviour and you can cancel the release if there is at least one message type which has not been printed out.
Tasks are classified in transaction code PFTC. Open up a task in change or display mode in PFTC. To classify it, go to Additional Data - Classification - Create.
Release procedure with classification means the Purchase requsition can be released both at item level at the header level. Release procedure with out classification can also be used for PR which is used for item level release only. all other external documents cannot be relesed with classification.
There are two types of Release Procedures: With Classification (Item level release and only for PR) With Out Classification (Header/document level release for RFQ, PO, contract and Scheduling.
