Word provides various tools for proofreading and correcting mistakes in your document. To conduct a full spelling and grammar check, go to the Review tab and click the Spelling and Grammar command, which opens a pane on the right. Word will guide you through the identified errors, and you can correct them by selecting a suggestion and clicking Change. Note that spell check isn't perfect; it may flag proper nouns (like names and street names) as errors. For such instances, you can choose to Ignore (skip once), Ignore All (skip every occurrence), or Add (permanently save the word to your dictionary). Ensure the spelling is correct before adding.
