To receive the maximum CPP amount you must contribute to the CPP for at least 39 of the 47 years from ages 18 to 65. The YMPE for 2021 is $66,600.
An RRSP is a retirement savings and investment account for individuals, including employees and the self-employed. An RPP is an employee pension plan, funded by either the employer and the employee or in some cases, just the employer.

The best way to track down a missing pension fund is to contact your former employer and ask to speak to the pension administrator.
