Click Actions tab - Edit Purchase Order option. The PO form opens in an editable form with the values populated while creating the Purchase Order.
Click the title of the purchase order you want to change. Click Change. To edit the properties of a line item, click the check box for that item, then click Edit.
To modify a purchase order: On the Main Menu, click Inventory . Click Purchase Orders . Click Display All . Click the purchase order you want to modify, and then click Open . Click a button in the dialog box. Change the fields in the window as appropriate. Click Save , and then click Close .
If you want to know the changes in any single PO then GOTO t-code ME22N ME23N, click Environment at the top, for header changes detail select header changes for item changes detail select item changes.
It is only possible to edit line items against one Purchase Order at a time. Not all changes to a Purchase Order require an amendment to be processed. Generally, when prices or quantities have decreased, a PO amendment is not required.
There is no standard way by which you can change a PO automatically after a change is recorded in a contract. Why would you want to change a PO which is already with vendor at a certain price.
Let me show you how to do it: Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings. Go to the Expenses tab. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the Purchase orders row. Select the boxes for your fields and custom transaction numbers. Enter your message on the Default message on purchase orders box. Click Save, then Done.
